DON'T TAZE ME BRO!

Hey hey everyone! Just checking in real quick with a quick post about my friend DJ Taze (Deacon Raynier). Tonight he's at Bar None Beach Club rocking out the 8-10pm with some DnB. Now this guy right here is a genuine DJ to the core. One of the most hungry DJ's I've seen on SL in years. He's only been spinning for about 6 months but you would never know it. EVERY single one of his transitions are on point and up to par with those of us who have been spinning for several years. His on air personality is lively and fits every single one of his sets. For those of you who haven't heard his mixes you truly are missing out. Make sure you check him out in world for details on his next party! Until next time, peace!

DJ Domy - Beast from the Middle East

Pictured above is DJ Domy (Domy Rain) I've known about Domy for a while, we worked together back at NASA and now at Bar None. I'm not sure of his scheduled sets but He's a must listen. Tonight he's mixing up some Middle Eastern music and let me tell you right now it's one hell of a set. If you're looking for something soothing to your ears and not as bassy as most DJ's sets these day you NEED to check out his tunes. Very relaxing sounds, gives you the feel that you're in a hookah lounge. All the better that Bar None's tip jars are hookah's! Make sure you check him out ASAP!!

Official Launch!!

Happy Sunday folks! This is the very first official posting on Sound Check! First I'd like to thank all of you who are actually reading this. With that being said lets get down to business. Sound Check was created with informing the general public about DJ's they aren't familiar with but should be. All genre's and styles of DJ's will be put on display here along with pictures and sound clips when available. This blog was originally supposed to open with a round table discussion on the state of the DJ and music scene in Second Life featuring various DJ's with different sounds. Unfortunately there are those in both virtual and real life that have issues with how others view their opinions and that discussion will be put on hold for the time being. Instead I thought we could stay theoretical for this post and read along with what wikipedia has for their definition of what a DJ is/does. Neddy
